2008 RESULTS!

Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 9:00 am starts the 8th annual Memphis In May Mountain Bike Triathlon. For sports enthusiasts as well as friends and family members traveling with participants of The Memphis in May Triathlon, this is the race for you.

With a 1/3-mile swim, a 10 mile mountain bike, and a 3-mile trail run this event is friendly for the novice triathlete as well as the well-seasoned veteran. You can register online or download an application from the Register link to the left.

Packet pick-up will be at the race site at Edmond Orgill Park . In conjunction with packet pick-up there will be a Sports Expo with sports apparel and equipment. See our expo page for details and a map. You can pick up your race packet up on Friday, May 16th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Saturday, May 17th from 8:00 am until 9:00 am.

The 1/3-mile swim will be on the Memphis in May Triathlon Swim Course. The 10-mile mountain bike will be in and around Edmond Orgill Park. The 3-mile run course will be entirely inside Edmond Orgill Park through mostly open fields.

The start will be a wave start with no more than 60 participants in each wave. There will be a 10-minute break in between waves. Everyone will receive 100% cotton T-shirt and an overall race time. Post race festivities will consist of entertainment and food for all volunteers and participants.
